Icy Concerns Remain

By Kathy Orr

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A moisture-packed, Coastal Storm dumped one to two inches of rain across the Delaware Valley, and created flooding along streets, stream, creeks and even rivers.

As temperatures fall below freezing during the early morning hours, any untreated surfaces will refreeze.

Fortunately, we have a holiday Monday, and commuter traffic should be light. But please be careful if heading out early Monday.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, will be Partly Sunny and Blustery, with winds gusting to 30 miles-an-hour.

Highs will be around 39 but wind chills will be a factor.

Tuesday will be Sunny and Cold, the high, 39 degrees.

Our next chance of snow comes on Wednesday, with a Clipper. There is not much moisture with this.

We'll keep you updated!

Kathy
