Several Reportedly Injured In I-78 Accident In Berks County

UPPER BERN TOWNSHIP, Pa., (CBS) – The westbound lanes of I-78 were shut down following an accident that left several injured in Upper Bern Township, Berks County, CBS 3 Eyewitness News is told.

The accident was reported at about 4:48 p.m. Wednesday.

All westbound lanes were reportedly shut down at Exit 29. Chopper 3 over the scene showed traffic backed up for miles.

CBS 3 is told 10 people were injured and that two tractors trailers and five vehicles were involved.

There is no word on what caused the crash.
