PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The 22nd annual Equality Forum Summit wrapped up Sunday with its SundayOUT Festival at the Piazza at Schmidts in Northern Liberties.

Thousands of people from all over the world came to the four-day summit, which hosted panels on gay rights topics that ranged from politics to religion.

"We're really at the epicenter of a major civil rights movement and so this summit helps to reflect the remarkable changes that are happening very quickly in this country," says Malcolm Lazin, executive director of the equality forum.

Lazin says their SundayOut Festival is the perfect end to their busy, yet productive week:

"It's like the creation, six days of work and 1 day of celebration. We're celebrating all that has been achieved and yet also knowing that there's a lot more to be done."

The festival featured more than 100 artisans, food vendors and community organizations.
