Humidity Creeping Back In For Tuesday

By Geoff Bansen

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia will close out June on a fairly average note, in what has been a wet and slightly warm month overall.

Expect to reach the mid 80s in the city this afternoon. The humidity is also creeping back in, so don't expect it to feel as lovely as it did on Monday. Some sun will give way to clouds as the day goes on, with showers and thunderstorms possible this afternoon. There is a slight risk of severity, but we aren't expecting anything close to the storms that rolled through last week.

Wednesday will be a similar day, with the threat of showers and storms during the afternoon. Another disturbance will pass by to the south on Thursday, perhaps bringing showers to the Delmarva. Right now, the holiday weekend forecast isn't looking too bad.
