Howie Roseman Takes Responsibility For Marcus Smith Pick

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- During SportsRadio 94WIP's 2015 Great Birds Debate, Eagles insider Dave Spadaro -- sort of -- revealed selecting Marcus Smith in the first round of the 2014 draft was Howie Roseman's decision.

On Tuesday, immediately following Doug Pederson's introductory press conference, Roseman -- who was renamed as personnel head after the release of Chip Kelly -- took responsibility for his mistakes as general manager.

"I'll take responsibility for everything that happened when I was the general manager here," Roseman said via Birds 24/7. "I'm happy to take responsibility for all that."

When pressed on the Smith selection, Roseman finally said, "Yes," he was responsible for the pick.

During the presser, Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie announced the Eagles are in search for a new "player personnel head."
