PHILADELPHIA (CBS)-- The Philadelphia Police Department has a brand new officer and he's already been involved in his first chase!
That's 3-year-old Ryder Simms behind the wheel of his police vehicle-- in hot pursuit Commissioner Richard Ross.

Ryder, who is from Swarthmore, was sworn in by Commissioner Ross as an honorary officer today at police headquarters.
