Home Of Notorious Gangster And Former Eastern State Penitentiary Inmate For Sale In Chicago

CHICAGO (CBS) – The home of one of Chicago's most infamous gangsters is reportedly up for sale.

Mob boss Al Capone moved into the home on the South Side of Chicago in 1923.

In the time since, it's undergone some renovations, including a new Jacuzzi, new windows, a new kitchen and an addition.

The house is on the market for $225,000.

Capone was an inmate in Philadelphia' Eastern State Penitentiary for eight months during 1929-1930 – his first stint in prison.
