High School Choir To Open For Touring A Capella Group

LANGHORNE, Pa. (CBS) -- A high school singing group in Bucks County have become the Runners-Up in an a capella singing competition.

Neshaminy High School's Select Choir placed second in the Vocalosity's Aca-Performance of a Lifetime contest with their "Kids In America" submission.

The recognition means they'll be opening for a capella group, Vocalosity on Wednesday, Sept. 28 at the Bucks County Playhouse. Vocalosity was created by artistic producer Deke Sharon, who produces "The Sing-Off," and was the vocal producer for the "Pitch Perfect" movies.

The group is currently on tour and holding competitions in the towns they pass through.
