DEPTFORD, N.J. (CBS) -- For the 50th year in a row, the gasoline retailer Hess is offering elaborate, logo-adorned toys for the holiday season.

And today, in honor of that milestone, Hess brought its new mobile museum of toy trucks to the Deptford Mall.

"We have all 50 years of the truck on display," noted Mark DiConzo, mobile museum tour manager and spokesperson for Hess.

He says the reaction to this traveling exhibit is always quite enthusiastic.

"A lot of times there's hidden treasures inside the trucks," DiConzo notes.   "We have collectors that have previous years' (trucks) who don't even realize that, out of the box, there are other parts to their trucks.  So they come here and see them on display, and get really excited and can't wait to go home and play with their trucks.  And these are grown adults!"

Ramen Rizzo, of Deptford, NJ, has almost all fifty trucks.  He says this visit to the mobile museum was more social than he anticipated.

" 'How many do you have?' 'When did you start?' You start talking to the other collectors," he recounted.

And Rizzo says seeing all the trucks on display takes him back in time.

"it's fun!" he added with a laugh.

The mobile museum will be in and around Philadelphia this week before heading south to North Carolina. For a full schedule of stops, go to www.hesstoytruck.com.
