PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- If there was ever a time to be on your shopping game -- it's now. Hatchimals are getting ready to hit Target stores this weekend.

According to Target's corporate blog, "A Bullseye View," stores across the US will start receiving "dozens" of the interactive creatures on Sunday, Dec. 11 with more inventory expected throughout the week.

Hatchimals Flying Off Shelves And Reselling For Thousands 

Target is limiting customers to two Hatchimals per person -- so if you have more than two kids you better bring your spouse, grandma, friend, anyone who can help you double up your stock.

If you're lucky enough to find one at Target, it'll cost you $59.99. But the toys are listed as triple that price or more on third-party retailers and on eBay.

So the bottom line is you'd better ask fast. As one of the most popular toys right now, if not thee most sought-after present of the 2016 holiday season, these latest shipments are bound to fly off the shelves.
