Hatboro Man Accused Of Having Sexual Relationship With Runaway Teen

HATBORO, Pa. (CBS) -- A Hatboro man is facing serious charges on allegations he had a sexual relationship with a runaway teen from South Jersey who he let stay with him.

The 16-year-old girl was last seen by her mother, getting picked up by her former guitar teacher, Joseph McGeehan, at her grandparent's house in Burlington Township on February 13th.

Five days later, police say, the girl was found at McGeehan's house in Hatboro.

When they questioned the girl, she told them she had sex with McGeehan and he had taken pictures of her.

According to the criminal complaint, when questioned by police, the 52-year-old McGeehan allegedly admitted to having intercourse with the 16-year-old, and images of the girl were found on his phone.

He is charged with sexual abuse of a child, concealment of the whereabouts of a child, interference with custody of a child, unlawful contact with a minor and corruption of minors.
