Gunman Takes $1K From Popular Fairmount Bar
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Police say a man held up the Urban Saloon in Fairmount at gunpoint early Thursday morning, and got away with a significant amount of cash.
This happened just after 12:30 a.m. at the bar located on the 2100 block of Fairmount Avenue.
The suspect reportedly fled on foot with approximately $1,000 cash. He was last seen heading east on Fairmount Avenue.
No injuries were reported.
Police are investigating the incident.
