Guide To The Democratic National Convention

Philadelphia is hosting the Democratic National Convention this July at the Wells Fargo Center. Here's your guide to the historic event:

THE BASICS

 

Who:  Former Clinton rival, Bernie Sanders has endorsed Hillary Clinton as the Democratic presidential nominee. Sanders congratulated Clinton for winning the nomination and vowed to do everything he could to help her beat presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump.

What: The Democratic National Convention is a series of conventions held every four years by the United States Democratic Party. The goal of the Democratic National Convention is to nominate and confirm a candidate for President and Vice President.

When: July 25-28, 2016.

Where:  The Wells Fargo Center in South Philadelphia.

TRANSPORTATION

There are numerous ways to get to Philadelphia during the DNC such as SEPTA, PATCO, NJ Transit, just to name a few.
