Ground Stop Lifted At Philadelphia International Airport After 'Equipment Outage At FAA Tower'

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A ground stop at Philadelphia International Airport has been lifted after an "equipment outage at the FAA Tower," officials said.

The ground stop lasted for nearly 2 hours.

"FAA ground stop due to earlier tower power outage has been lifted. FAA reporting some arriving flights are running 1 hour 54 minutes behind schedule. Check flight status updates with your airline," said airport officials

Travelers are urged to check directly with their airline for flight status updates.
