PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- 10 plays, 75 yards, 5:09. Touchdown Packers.

The Eagles decided to defer to the Packers on Monday night and they were down seven points before they blinked. The Packers never looked back, winning 27-13.

"We need to start faster, that's it," said Eagles defensive lineman Brandon Graham on the 94WIP Morning Show. "Start faster and have fun.

"We got five more opportunities and you just never know how things may go. All I know is, we just need to get back to having fun and not worrying about nothing else other than that."

The Eagles have dropped six of their last eight games, falling to 5-6 and below .500 for the first time this season. Graham says the defense certainly did not take Aaron Rodgers and the Packers lightly.

"We went into the game with the mentality that they're the best offense," Graham said. "We just came up short."

Graham, who is one of the NFL's best edge defenders according to Pro Football Focus, has just one sack in his last five games. He took responsibility for an offsides penalty against Green Bay, calling it "unacceptable."

"We need to go out here and we just need to get better, collectively, including me," Graham said on Wednesday. "Jumping offsides is unacceptable. I was disappointed with myself. My teammates kind of rallied around me and told me they had my back or whatever. But, for me to go out there and tell people, 'Oh man don't jump offsides. They love the hard count here.'

"And then for me to do it right after that, just disappointing. And they know where my heart is, they know I was anxious to get out there, but I need to be cool in those situations and understand the situation when they arrive."
