Governor Tom Wolf's Father Passes Away At 95

HARRISBURG, PA (CBS/AP) – Officials say Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf's father has passed away.

Because of the death of Bill Wolf, the governor won't participate in a Sept. 11 observance on Sunday at the crash site of United Airlines Flight 93.

It happened on Friday at 3:15 p.m.

Governor Wolf's father William Trout Wolf was 95 years old. He was a York County businessman who saw his son elected governor two years ago.

Arrangements are pending.

The governor's office asks that the family's privacy be respected during this difficult time.
