Governor Jon Huntsman Talks Politics At Villanova Law School

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Governor Jon Huntsman brought his recipe of how-to-fix-politics to Villanova's Law School.
Former Utah Governor, US Ambassador, and presidential candidate Jon Huntsman says, when it comes to ethics and civility in politics, this is a tough time for his Republican party.
"The bad news for my party, the party of Lincoln, is we've hit the bottom. The good news, is that we've hit the bottom," said Huntsman.
Over an hour, he pointed to gerrymandered districts that tilt parties to the extreme, and campaign finance laws that end up having too much money coming from too few people.
"Level the playing field for people who want to get into politics, and don't want to suck up to the big givers and have to play extreme partisanship to get through the partisan process," Huntsman said.
Huntsman was speaking as part of Villanova Law School's Center for Ethics, Integrity, and Compliance.
