Gov. Markell Signs Bill Expanding Access To Medical Marijuana For Children

WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) – Days after decriminalizing marijuana, Governor Jack Markell will sign a bill Tuesday expanding access to medical marijuana for children.

The new law allows kids under 18 to get access to medical marijuana oil with a doctor's prescription.

The oil does not contain enough of the active ingredient in marijuana to get someone "high."

The state's first medical marijuana dispensary will open outside Wilmington on Friday.
