Gov. Christie Speaks Out Against Pres. Obama's Plan To Reopen Embassy In Cuba

TRENTON, NJ (CBS) – While on the campaign trail, New Jersey governor Chris Christie weighed in on President Obama's plan to reopen the American embassy in Havana, Cuba.
"He's giving away an ability to have an economic relationship and a political relationship with the United States to a dictatorial regime that has done nothing, nothing to reform itself," Christie said.
Meanwhile, police in New Jersey see the diplomatic move as an opportunity to return a convicted killer to prison.
Joanne Chesimard, convicted in the 1973 murder of a NJ State Trooper, escaped prison and fled to Cuba.
