Gmail Creates "Undo Send" Button To Delay Emails From Being Sent

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- If you've ever wished you could un-send an email, Google is giving you that option.
That fiery reply to an all-staff email was supposed to be your co-worker's eyes-only. Instead, you hit reply-all, and all those choice words are sprinting to your boss' inbox.
Such a scenario need not happen with a new Gmail feature called 'Undo Send.'
Turn it on by clicking the Gear icon and then Settings.
You can choose to give your second thoughts as many as 30 seconds or as few as five.
Doing so actually delays the sending process, as opposed to Google pulling your email back from the ether.
Once you click send, a small box appears near the top of the screen; clicking 'undo' returns you to the email window, allowing wrongs to be righted before tragedy befalls.
