Gloucester Township Police Investigating After Suspicious Vehicle Approaches Student Walking To School
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ (CBS) – Police in Gloucester Township are investigating after a suspicious person approached a middle school student walking to school.
According to police, on March 28 around 7:40 a.m., a red or maroon four-door sedan with tinted windows approached a juvenile female walking to school on Mullen Drive of the Cobblestone Development off Sicklerville Road and asked her if she wanted a ride.
The girl immediately ran to the nearby middle school and the car was last seen driving away into the development.
There is no description of the driver, as the juvenile could not see into the partially open tinted windows.
Police in Gloucester Township are warning residents to be on the lookout and report any suspicious people or vehicles.
