Gloucester County Community Leaders, NAACP Hold Vigil Honoring Memory Of George Floyd

GLOUCESTER COUNTY, N.J. (CBS) -- In Gloucester County, community leaders, including the NAACP, held a vigil at James G. Atkinson Park in Sewell. At 8:45 p.m., they lit candles and cell phones.

The time was in reference to the eight minutes and 45 seconds that George Floyd's neck was held down by the officer's knee.

Organizers said they want to encourage people to vote for change.
