Gas Prices On The Rise

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Gas prices are going up, seven cents over the last two weeks.

The national average is $1.84 per gallon.

Pennsylvania residents can expect to pay even more. It is a $1.91 in the Philadephia area.

In New Jersey, prices are cheaper at $1.52 a gallon.

Delaware is also below the nation average at $1.70 per gallon.

Experts blame the increase on higher crude oil prices, but point out that prices are still 70 cents cheaper than this time last year.
