Front Glass Shattered At Popular Center City Clothing Store

CENTER CITY (CBS) -- Boyd's Center City clothing store front window was shattered early Tuesday morning, triggering a burglar alarm.

Philadelphia Police are awaiting an inventory count from the store manager of the Boyd's at 1818 Chestnut Street to determine if anything was taken.

Officers responding to the well known men's and women's clothing store in Center City found part of a car bumper on the sidewalk among the shattered glass along with a mannequin and some clothing items.

Police say the incident happened about 4:40 a.m.
