Free Cupcakes At The Shops At Liberty Place Through Thursday
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Hungry? For the next few days only, you can score free cupcakes at a Center City shopping center during lunchtime.
City of Hope Philadelphia is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its event, "Let Them Eat Cake," with a preview event at The Shops at Liberty Place, and it involves free cake.
From Tuesday, March 25th through Thursday, March 27th, the organization will be offering free cupcakes on a first come, first served basis starting at noon each day.
And while you enjoy your treat, you can also scope out some truly amazing cakes, as the Rotunda will be filled with whimsical confections from years past created by The Merion and The Art Institute.
Let Them Eat Cake is the Northeast's largest wedding cake competition and City of Hope's signature benefit. Funds raised go towards the fight against cancer, HIV/AIDS and other serious illnesses. The event is set for Monday, April 7th and you can get tickets here.
In the meantime, let them eat (cup)cake!
