Police Station Evacuated Following Scare Over Training Devices

TELFORD, Pa. (CBS) -- A police station in Montgomery County was evacuated on Wednesday afternoon following a scare over training devices.

Police say a man whose son is in the military brought the devices to the police department in Telford around 1 p.m. after finding them in his son's bedroom.

The bomb squad was deployed after they were unsure of the explosives.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives says the devices that were found were for training purposes and marked as inert.

No injuries were reported.
