Former Hammonton H.S. Aide Sought Amid Charges of Affair With Student

HAMMONTON, N.J. (CBS) -- A former high school band leader has run afoul of the law in South Jersey.
Jason Koenig, 26, is facing four criminal counts stemming from his alleged involvement with a 16-year-old student at Hammonton High School last November and December.
He served as an aide and marching band leader at the school until his sudden departure last week, when he was first questioned about the matter.
Bail has been set at $200,000 cash for Koenig, who had yet to turn himself in.
"We have a good idea where he is," says Hammonton police chief Robert Jones. "He has family in other states, and we're pretty confident that we know where he is."
Charges in this case include official misconduct, sexual assault, and child endangerment.
