Former Eagle Josh Huff Has Hearing In Camden County On Gun And Drug Charges

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Former Philadelphia Eagle Josh Huff has a hearing in Camden County this afternoon on gun and drug charges.

Huff was arrested on November 1 for allegedly speeding on the Walt Whitman Bridge while in possession of a handgun and marijuana.

After his arrest, Huff told the media, "I'm a professional athlete, what professional athlete don't have a gun? I have a wife and I have a son. My job is to protect them at all costs. My job is to protect myself as well."

Huff was later released by the Eagles and later signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to their practice squad.

He issued an apology for the incident after his release.
