Former Bordentown Township Police Chief Frank Nucera Jr. Won't Face 3rd Trial For Hate Charges

CAMDEN, N.J. (CBS) -- The former police chief in Bordentown Township will not face a third trial for hate crime charges.

Prosecutors decided to drop the charges against Frank Nucera Jr.

He was accused of slamming a handcuffed Black suspect's head into a door jamb during an arrest back in 2016.

Nucera's first two trials ended in mistrials.
