Forbes Summit Entrepreneurs Take On The Art Museum Steps

By Jim Melwert

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- A group of entrepreneurs in town for the Forbes Under 30 Summit got an early start this morning to channel their inner Rocky at the Art Museum.

The Temple University marching band provided the soundtrack as the summit attendees ran down the Parkway, and up the Art Museum steps.

Dan Berkowitz grew up in Broomall, went to college in Chicago, and now calls LA home. He's been away from the Delaware Valley for over a decade.

"The city's grown a lot," he said. "The city's always had a lot of character and a great work ethic."

He says by being here with the Forbes Under 30 Summit, he thinks Philadelphia is starting to recognize its potential.

"Certainly to bring all these young entrepreneurs from all over the world here to talk and look at the city, explore the city, see all it has to offer, it's an incredible opportunity for them and an incredible opportunity for the city," he said.

The Under 30 Summit organizers say it has thousands of people in town, bringing together members of Forbes 30 Under 30 list with mentors and business leaders.
