Forbes: Eagles 9th Most Valuable NFL Franchise

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Forbes has been putting together their most valuable NFL franchise list for 18 years now. This is the ninth straight year the Dallas Cowboys have been a top the list, to no surprise, valued at $4 billion.

The Eagles come in as the NFL's ninth most valuable franchise in 2015, currently valued at $2.4 billion.

The New England Patriots ($3.2 billion), Washington Redskins ($2.85 billion), New York Giants ($2.8 billion) and San Francisco 49ers ($2.7 billion) round out the NFL's top five, behind the Cowboys.

The Cowboys are actually the most valuable franchise in all of sports, ahead of Real Madrid ($3.26 billion), the Patriots ($3.2 billion), the New York Yankees ($3.2 billion) and Barcelona ($3.16 billion).
