F&M Poll: PA Voters Say Government, Politicians #1 Problem

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A new poll of Pennsylvania residents shows that government dysfunction has shot to the top of the list of what voters believe are the most serious problems facing the state.
With a budget standoff that's nearly four months old, the new Franklin and Marshall College Poll shows nearly two-thirds of Pennsylvania voters think the state is "on the wrong track." And Poll Director Terry Madonna says more eye-opening is this finding:
"When we asked voters about the most important problem in the state," says Madonna, "39-percent now cite government and politicians. In August, it was 22-percent."
51-percent of voters believe embattled Attorney General Kathleen Kane should resign, up from 46-percent in August. In the presidential races, it's Trump 23-percent, Carson 22-percent and Rubio 13-percent on the Republican side, while Hillary Clinton leads Bernie Sanders 52-percent to 18-percent among Democrats.
