Flyers Visit Rangers In Key Division Showdown

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - After having their five-game winning streak snapped on Monday night against the Kings, the Flyers will look to bounce back on Wednesday night as they visit the New York Rangers in a key Metropolitan Division match-up.

Even with Monday's loss, the Flyers are still 12-3-1 over their last 16 games and this surge has lifted their point total to 83, which is good for third place in the Metro. The Rangers are in second, one point ahead of the Orange and Black.

This is the fourth and final regular-season match-up between these two teams. The Flyers have won two of the first three, both wins coming at the Center (2-1 on 10/24 and 4-2 on 3/1). The Flyers lost the other game played at the Garden, 4-1, back on January 12th.

The Rangers have won four in a row coming into this one. Last time out on Monday they beat Phoenix, in overtime, 4-3.

Steve Mason will start in net for the Flyers.
