Flyers Trade Meszaros To Bruins

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – It ended up being a relatively quiet trade deadline for the Flyers.

In a deal that came through just before Wednesday's 3pm deadline, the Flyers traded defenseman Andrej Meszaros to the Boston Bruins for a third round pick. The deal was first reported by Dan Murphy of Sportsnet, and confirmed by Tim Pannacio of Comcast Sportsnet.

Meszaros, 28 years old, has been with the Flyers since 2010. He was originally selected in the first round of the 2004 NHL Draft by the Ottawa Senators.
