Flyers Sign Travis Konecny
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Philadelphia Flyers have signed first round draft pick (24th overall), center Travis Konecny, to an entry-level contract, general manager Ron Hextall announced on Thursday.
Konecny, 18, was recently selected by the Flyers in the first round (24th overall) of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft on June 26. He recorded 29 goals and 39 assists for 68 points in 60 games for the Ottawa 67's of the Ontario Hockey League this past season.
