Flyers Sign Ryan White To Contract Extension

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Flyers announced a contract extension for forward Ryan White on Tuesday evening. The extension is for one year according to Flyers general manager Ron Hextall.

White, 27, posted six goals and six assists last season for the Flyers in just 34 games. Both totals were career highs for White.

White was drafted by the Canadiens in the third round of the 2006 NHL draft.
