Flyers Recall Brandon Manning

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Flyers general manager Ron Hextall announced on Thursday night that the team would be recalling Brandon Manning. The defenseman will rejoin the Flyers from the team's AHL affiliate Lehigh Valley Phantoms.

Manning was last with the Flyers on March 7th and returned to the Phantoms on March 19th.

Manning is the second leading scorer on the Phantoms with 43 points through 58 games.

The move comes one day after the team announced that defenseman Andrew MacDonald would miss the remainder of the regular season with injury.
