Flyers To Give Out Bracelets For Thursday's Home Opener, Per Report

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Flyers are going to try their luck with the bracelet thing again, according to Sam Carchidi.

Before Thursday's home opener against the Anaheim Ducks, the Flyers will give fans light-up bracelets in part of the ceremony to honor the late Ed Snider and the team's 50th anniversary before the game.

The Flyers gave out bracelets during last season's playoff series against the Washington Capitals and fans responded to a Game 3 loss by throwing them on the ice. The Flyers even received a minor penalty because of the fans' behavior.
