Fletcher Cox Wins NFC Defensive Player Of The Month

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Eagles keep racking up the awards.

Fletcher Cox was named the NFC defensive player of the month on Thursday, one day after Carson Wentz was named NFC offensive player of the week. 

Cox, 25, has 14 tackles, three sacks, six hurries and a forced fumble in three games this season.

Connor Barwin was the last Eagles player to win defensive player of the month in November of 2014. The last Eagles defensive end to win the award was Hugh Douglas, all the way back in 2000.
