STATE COLLEGE, Pa (CBS) -- You wouldn't assume that a Penn State vs. Purdue regular season basketball game would be a star-studded affair. While celebrities do indeed tend to frequent the sidelines of their favorite college programs, Penn State basketball is not seen as the typical draw.

On Saturday, there was one star who watched the Nittany Lions take on the Boilermakers.

Penn State Football coach James Franklin took the opportunity to snag a picture with arguably the most famous hype man in the history of music.

Flavor Flav has become known for popping up in random places, but what could be more random than a Penn State basketball game?
