Officials: Flames Rip Through Porch Of Rowhome In Cobbs Creek

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A rowhome fire broke out in Philadelphia's Cobbs Creek neighborhood Wednesday morning, officials say. Fire crews were called to the 5700 block of Rodman Street, around 5:40 a.m., for an occupied rowhome fire.

Officials say arriving crews saw heavy fire on the porch, extending to the homes on both sides.

The fire was placed under control shortly after 6 a.m.

No injuries were reported.

An investigation is ongoing.
