Fire Rips Through Condo In Northeast Philadelphia; 2 Injured

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Two people were injured overnight when fire ripped through a condo in Northeast Philadelphia.

Flames broke out around 12:30 a.m. at a duplex along the 2000 block of Welsh Road near Roosevelt Boulevard in the city's Bustleton neighborhood.

Authorities say a man and a woman were taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.

It took about an hour for crews to place the blaze under control.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
