Fire Rips Through Apartment Building In North Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A fire at an apartment building in North Philadelphia forced more than a dozen people from there homes Saturday afternoon.

Flames broke out around 3:30 p.m. at an apartment building along the 3800 block of North 15th Street in the city's Tioga-Nicetown section.

No injuries were reported, but the American Red Cross was assisting 17 displaced residents.

Fire officials are investigating the cause of the blaze.
