Fire Rips Through Apartment Building In Chester

CHESTER, Pa. (CBS) -- One person was injured overnight after fire ripped through an apartment building in Delaware County.

The two-alarm blaze broke out shortly after 1 a.m. Sunday at 5th and Barclay Streets in Chester.

Authorities say the building was converted into multiple apartments but was not fully occupied at the time of the fire.

One person was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
