Fire Rips Through Abandoned Bowling Alley In Wilmington

WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) -- Investigators are searching for the cause of a fire that destroyed an abandoned bowling alley in Wilmington, Delaware.

The fire broke out around 5:00 a.m. Sunday at the Pike Creek Bowling Center in the 5100 block of Pike Creek Boulevard and quickly grew to three alarms.

It took crews from numerous fire departments more than four hours to bring the blaze under control.

There were no reports of any injuries, but the bowling alley, which has been closed since 2009, was a total loss.

It's not immediately known what sparked the fire.
