Officials: 1 Hospitalized In Fairhill Fire

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Fire officials say one person is hospitalized following a blaze in Philadelphia's Fairhill neighborhood.

The fire was reported at about 12:48 p.m. Monday at the 3000 block of N. Mascher Street.

Fire officials say one person was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The American Red Cross says they are responding to assist a family.

The fire was placed under control at about 1:15 p.m., according to officials.

The cause of the fire is unclear and remains under investigation.
