Fire In North Philly Sends 3 To Hospital

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Authorities say three people were taken to the hospital after firefighters responded to a fire in North Philadelphia.

A 2 year-old, a 7 year-old and 36 year-old were taken to Torresdale Hospital and treated for smoke inhalation. No more information is available on their conditions.

The fire happened around 6 p.m. Sunday night at the 2700 block of Rhawn Street in the Rhawnhurst section of the city.

Firefighters had the blaze under control in about twenty minutes.

No word on what caused the fire.
