3-Alarm Fire Forces Evacuation Of Delaware County Shopping Center

FOLCROFT, Pa. (CBS) --  Crews in Delaware County battled a fire at a shopping center on Monday night which sent one person to the hospital.

Fire and rescue personnel were called out to the Delcroft Shopping Center at 1850 Delmar Drive in Folcroft, Pa.

Officials say the fire broke out around 8:43 p.m. and reached three alarms. The fire started at the Family Dollar Store.

According to officials, one person was taken to the hospital for treatment, but there was no word on their condition.

The shopping center was evacuated and officials were able to place the fire under control around 11:08 p.m.
