Fire Crews Battle Garage Unit Fire In Delaware County

CLIFTON HEIGHTS, Pa. (CBS) -- Smoke could be seen for quite a way in a Delaware County neighborhood on Thursday night.

Officials responded to a garage unit fire. The fire occurred on the 400 block of S. Springfield Road.

Delaware County Fire officials arrived on the scene around 6:51 p.m. to battle the blaze that impacted multiple garage units and a laundry room.

The fire was placed under control shortly before 8:00 p.m. There were no reported injuries.

Police say several vehicles were damaged and the cause of the fire is still unknown.
