Fire Breaks Out In Clubhouse Of Abandoned Ashbourne Country Club

CHELTENHAM, Pa. (CBS) -- Firefighters battled a blaze that broke out inside a shuttered golf country club building in Montgomery County Wednesday.

The fire started at about 9 a.m. at the closed Ashbourne Country Club in Cheltenham Township.

Chopper 3 HD was over the scene where it showed heavy smoke coming from the abandoned clubhouse.

The fire reached two alarms shortly after 10 a.m.

There were no immediate reports of any injuries.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
